The Los Angeles Rams and Quarterback, Jared Goff, had an 8-0 record in the NFL. They took down former Superbowl champions the Eagles and other well-known teams. They were the only undefeated team at the time. The Rams have been really in the groove this season, well until last week. The New Orleans Saints played the Rams last week on Sunday. The Saints had a 6-1 record for the season at the time. Famed Quarterback Drew Brees was ready for the fight.

The Saints score early for seven in the first six minutes of the game by Running back, Alvin Kamara. The saints really try to utilize Taysom Hill, originally from BYU, which seems to work, he seems to be a very versatile player for the Saints. The LA Rams responded with another touchdown by running back Todd Gurley II. Kamara scores another touchdown making the score 14-7 in the first quarter, in favor of the Saints.

In the Second quarter, The Rams open up to a 45 yard pass to Wide Receiver Brandin Cooks, followed with a finishing pass for the touch down to Cooks one minute into the quarter. The following drive, The rams forced a fumble on Brees, recovered by Rams Defensive End Aaron Donald, resulting in a turnover. In the same drive they go for the fake punt on fourth down resulting in a first down, but no points put up that drive. Saints respond with a touchdown pass to Rookie Tre’Quan Smith. Saints throw another touchdown pass, to Benjamin Watson. At the end of the 1st half, Linebacker, Alex Anzalone intercepts a pass by Goff, leading to a touch down by Kamara again.

In the third quarter, Running back Malcolm Brown puts up a good fight and runs into the end zone for another seven points for the Rams. Rams put up another seven after Kupp gets a pass thrown from half field. Micheal Thomas, wide Receiver,  caught a pass for another seven for the Saints in the fourth quarter for the win.

The Rams put up a good fight to retain their reputation last Sunday, but the Saints were prepared, and knew what plays they needed to use and where the Rams where weakest. The Rams are now 8-1 and the Saints are 7-1. (NewOrleansSaints.com)
