Playing powder-puff was a lot more fun than I was expecting it to be! Honestly I was a little nervous. I knew a little about football, but not a lot. Our coaches would say some football term and most of the girls had blank stares across their faces. Once it was broken down and explained to us, it made more sense and football wasn’t as hard as most of us thought it was. We learned plays and positions and what to do in those positions. In the actual game, though, I don’t think we used most of those plays. Most of us were running around trying to sack the quarterback or who ever had the ball. Unfortunately it was flag football, meaning no tackling. Of course we ignored that factor and went straight for the tackle! Definitely more entertaining than tugging on a flag, trying to pull it off. McKenzie Hunsaker was the seniors’ top tackler, grabbing onto the juniors and throwing them to the ground!

The crowd was cheering for the seniors to win, changing the words from normal cheers to seniors chanting, “LET’S GO SENIORS!!” The Capriettes came out at half time and performed! What a show that was! Quite hilarious watching them trying to follow the Caprielle leading them. Their outfits are always very interesting! They later acted as the cheerleaders leading the crowd in cheers and chants (mostly cheering for the seniors).

The final score came out to be 14-8. Tenna Child made the first touchdown for the seniors and got two points, making the score 8-0. Juniors had a touchdown later on by Tabitha Smith. They went for the two points and got it, bringing the score to 8-8! Not long after, the seniors had another touchdown by Kenadi Green, making final score 14-8 and bringing the seniors to the win. GO SENIORS!!!
